The COVID-19 worldwide pandemic has slowed our season down but it will not stop it.

We are now getting back into the swing of things in accordance local, state, and national safety guidance including that of our sanctioning body, USAC .25. Be aware that due to these protective measures SCQMRA has made some modifications to race day protocol in order to remain in compliance. Please make the best decisions possible for your family regarding attending race events.

Unfortunately, we had to cancel three of our scheduled races (March 15, March 29, and April 19) just as our season was beginning. Two of these were combined Lil’ Tangerine Tournament races. One Tangerine make-up date is already on the schedule for the fall and the board is looking at all possible options for an additional make-up date. Space Coast and New Smyrna still plan to complete the tournament this season. Should the pandemic posture change that plan we will communicate additional information as soon as possible.

Racing resumes with the 5th scheduled race on May 24, 2020
